John Dillinger came out of prison after 9 years and started robbing banks. The government declared him as Public Enemy No. 1 and sent Agent Purvis to catch Dillinger. A cat and mouse chase started with a lot of gun fights and blood shed. Inspite of great performances by Johnny Depp and Christian Bale, the movie falls short of expectation, specially after the hype it created.
