Aliens had come to the city of Johannesburg and started to cohabit with the humans in District 9. Now, after 20 years, the government has planned to evict the aliens in District 9 to more protected place. An officer is given responsibility of evicting the aliens who encounters a strange alien object and accidentally releases its contents on himself. He soon finds himself fighting, not only the side effects of the release but also for his life.
