'The Dark Knight' (2008) is one movie I remember in recent times which surpassed all the hypes it had created. Being a sequel of 'Batman Begins' and the premature death of Heath Ledger, it generated a lot of media attention. But unlike other sequels it outdid its prequel by quite a big margin. Continuing with the masked crusader's fight with the underworld of Gotham City, 'The Dark Knight' gives him his ultimate challenge, the Joker.I cannot remember a villain who is more terrifying than this one. Heath Ledger was almost unrecognizable and gave a performance which was out of this world. There is not a single dull moment in the film. Another masterpiece by Christopher Nolan and by far his best. This is the best superhero movie ever made. If you do not like Batman just watch this movie for the Joker and Heath Ledger's acting. You will not be disappointed.
